Allied Health Science Program at The Cold Hollow Career Center

Description: The Allied Health Sciences Program is a two-year college preparatory program offered to Juniors and Seniors at the Cold Hollow Career Center. The curriculum is rigorous and covers infection control, confidentiality, ethics, medical terminology, human body systems, symptoms of disease and treatment approaches. Also covered are nutrition, Wellness and professional development. Prerequisite for entry is successful completion of a college prep Biology Course.

Notes: Students are expected to complete the 17 competencies dictated by the State of Vermont and aligned with the Vermont Framework of Standards and National Health Care Foundation Standards. LNA certification may be available.
