Job Outlook: Employment for massage therapists is expected to increase faster than average through 2016.

Education, Licensing and Certification: The Associate of Science degree program at the Community College of Vermont integrates traditional and non-traditional knowledge bases regarding massage therapy and bodywork. Course work includes anatomy & physiology and a variety of massage and bodywork techniques and practices. Students are prepared to enter the alternative health career field with a broad background and the ability to work with a diverse group of clients and practitioners.
